Here are the Windows 8 OEM prices courtesy of an unnamed Taiwanese notebook manufacturer.
For each x86-based machine, OEMs will have to shell out $80 to $100 USD for using both Windows 8 Pro and Office 2013. For that use an ARM-based chip, OEMs will be have to pay between $50 and $65 USD for using Windows RT and Office 13 on each device.
Wonder how much Microsoft is charging itself for a Windows RT license? No wonder certain OEMs are pissed at Microsoft.
