Rumour: Next iPhone will have a quad-core

Digitimes is reporting that the next generation iPhone (iPhone 5) will be powered by a quad-core processor
According to anonymous industry sources, Apple’s sixth iPhone will feature a new quad-core processor based on Samsung’s Exynos 4 ARM.  Other rumours have also suggested that Apple’s new iPhone might include a quad-core chipset, this according to an analysis of Apple’s iOS 6 software in early June is fuelling these rumours. The new iPhone is also rumoured to pack a larger 4 inch display, a smaller dock connector and a new unibody aluminum case.
