Google releases Chromebook Pixel: Retina touchscreen Macbook Pro knockoff

Google announced today the availability of the next Chromebook, the Chromebook Pixel. Powering this new Chromebook is an i5 processor along with with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, a 720p webcam, 2 USB ports, SD card reader and of course a 2500x1700 resolution touchscreen.
a web browser for $1300. i do think its a nice design, really can see that backlit keyboard coming in handy, wonder where they got that idea from? the lightbar is cool though.
