Very interesting 3D concept display here that`s rotatable and could be of great use to engineers and designers. It uses a prism and four images to create this 3D effect, now add gesture control and voila, one very cool almost holographic display.

Using threejs I created a 3D scene and rendered for unique camera angles to reflect off of 1/16" plexi. It creates the illusion of a 3Dimensional volumetric display in it's most crude state. I also attached my leap motion to start controlling the globe with a simple point of the finger.
