Rumour: Surface RT tablet will be $199

Engadget is siting an unnamed “inside source” who attended a session at Microsoft’s TechReady15 conference and according to him the Microsoft Windows RT tablet will be priced at $199.
If the Windows RT tablet comes in at under $200 it would certainly put Microsoft on the map, but more than likely Microsoft would be taking a big hit to its bottom line for selling it at such a low price. Something else to take into consideration, what will Microsoft`s hardware partners think about such a move?
