Well it looks like the hacking group known as Anonymous is itself not immune to being hacked. Another hacker group known as "Rustle League" has hacked Anonymous` twitter account @Anon_Central. Even though this hack was short lived (around 3 hours) it must be quite the embarrassment.
BBC News reports:
"The reason Anonymous fell victim is probably human weakness," said Graham Cluley, senior consultant at security firm Sophos.
"Chances are that they followed poor password practices, like using the same password in multiple places or choosing a password that was easy to crack.
Everyone should learn better password security from incidents like this - if it can happen to an account run by Anonymous supporters, it could happen to you."
turnabout deserves some fair play. using poor password practices? looks like they have some house keeping to do
