Google+ is a virtual ghost town

Google’s social network Google+ may tout big numbers, but a new study suggests that social are anything but impressive.
Google’s answer to Facebook opened its doors to the public last September, and in December Google revealed that Google+ was home to 62 million users. Google+ boasted 100 million users as of April, but according to eCommerce analytics firm RJ Metrics, the social network is not doing all that well.

The RJ Metrics study used data from a sample of 40,000 public Google+ accounts to determine just how successful Google’s social network really is. According to their findings, Google+ is a ghost town.
